Home Of Hope

Home of Hope is a space for collective sharing, learning and solidarity between artists, cultural workers, researchers, community leaders and peacebuilders. It includes an active online community (via WhatsApp), in person events, and a Resource Hub. This will be a community with invaluable knowledge sharing, connection, and conversation leading to collaboration and opportunities.

Home of Hope aims to be a welcoming, diverse space, shared by all, that is both useful and supportive on issues related to human rights, social justice, peacebuilding and conflict transformation. It builds a thriving community that fosters meaningful relationships for co-creation, peer learning, and solidarity. The project aims to be self-sustaining, driven by the contribution of community members and supported by IMPACT.

Through a WhatsApp Community and thematic groups, users share with each other about:

🔸 Creative approaches: good practice, lessons learnt, resources, strategies

🔹 Care, wellbeing and solidarity: contexts, feelings, support

🔸 Opportunities: collaboration, funding, events, residencies etc.

We are inviting people to join the platform who want to learn, are interested in sharing and connecting with others, looking for inspiration, wishing to show solidarity, and eager to be part of a community. Home of Hope will be hosted on the WhatsApp Community platform, where you can share updates and info, ask questions, build connection and solidarity, and be part of a supportive community. The Resource Hub allows you to access and input invaluable resources on the topics of conflict transformation, arts, and culture.

The project will therefore be guided by the ‘Community Agreements’ to ensure respect, safety, and accountability on the platform.
