IMPACT has engaged with key players in related fields, including human rights, transitional justice, environmental justice, sustainable development, arts education, etc., to enhance the visibility of and support for creative approaches to work in their areas. For instance, we at IMPACT have been working with UNESCO’s Art Lab for Human Rights and Dialogue , conducting original research to identify ethical practices when working in communities living with precarity. We edited and contributed to a special issue of the International Journal of Transitional Justice focused on arts and culture. We have led webinars for the International Teaching Artists Collaborative. We aim for wider understanding and recognition of the field of arts, culture and conflict transformation, and for people in regions around the world and in various sub-fields to recognize themselves as part of it.
